CSS Potential

If you’re a website beginner you may wonder what CSS is I like to call it something that makes HTML pretty you may not of even heard about CSS yet I know I didn’t when i first started designing websites, if you know about CSS and a proficient web maker then this page is stuff you already know. While having a look around the web I stumbled across a site that showed a few CSS Tricks. This website shows how CSS can be used to great lengths to make your website load quicker and enhance the appearance and feel of your site

The only problem at the moment is that not all browsers can use the CSS code to the full potential it has to make your site look amazing. Firefox at the moment is the best browser I have found that reads the most CSS coding which is why I use Firefox and feel it is the best browser out there at the moment and its free, Internet Explorer (IE) is nowhere near the class that Firefox is in understanding CSS, but the problem is that there are still a lot of people out there that use IE so this is why you must always test your website on all the major browsers to make sure everyone that views it gets the best from your site.

The major browsers out there at the moment are as I have mentioned before.

  • Firefox (PC USER)
  • Internet Explorer (IE) (PC USER)
  • Safari (MAC USER)
  • Opera (MAC USER)

These are the four main browsers that used at the moment two for the PC and two for the MAC there is also Goggle Chrome which is the newest out of these browsers and as far as i have seen can read CSS pretty much the same as Firefox but it’s always good to check that what you do works in them all.

I think I may have drifted of the potential of CSS, as i said at the beginning it is a great tool to use to make your HTML pretty not only does it make it look good it also makes the coding look better and means your main page does not have a load of styling.

Well I think this will do talking about CSS potential and the browser problems I know there isn’t loads of detail but it’s late and I will expand on this in later posts and also tutorials explaining the ins and outs of CSS.

So keep checking back for the latest info.
